The City of Belgrade is pleased
to provide you with this year's Annual Water Quality Report. We
want to keep you informed about the excellent water we have delivered
to our water consumers.
We're proud that Belgrade's drinking water
meets, or exceeds, all federal and state requirements. The water
system for the City of Belgrade had no violations in 1999. It has
been the City of Belgrade goal to provide you with a safe and dependable
supply of drinking water.

WATER
SOURCES
Where does Belgrade's water come from?
The City receives its water from
four deep-water wells that pump directly into the water distribution
system and storage reservoir. The City does not treat the water
with anything. The water comes out of the ground clean and pure.
WATER AND YOUR HEALTH
Information about contaminants
and potential health effects can be obtained by calling the Environmental
Protection Agency's Safe Drinking Water Hotline (800) 426-4791.
