    Belgrade City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each Month except for holidays. Agendas are posted the weekend before the meeting.

The City of Belgrade is requesting proposals for the Belgrade Police Department Towing and Recovery Contract. A copy of the detailed Request for Proposals (RFP) may be viewed here, or obtained by contacting Sue Caldwell, City Clerk, susan@cityofbelgrade.net, or by calling (406) 388-3775, or may be picked up in person at the Belgrade City Office, 91 E. Central Avenue, Belgrade, MT 59714.

The new water and sewer rates for both residential and commercial meters go into effect January 2019.

Belgrade's Animal Control Ordinance requires all dogs over the age of (6) six months to be licensed by the City of Belgrade. Belgrade City ordinance 463 allows for only two (2) dogs in the city limits of Belgrade.

Dog licenses must be acquired by January 1st of each year and are only valid for that calendar year and will be deemed delinquent and subject to a citation after January 25th. You may purchase your 2019 dog license beginning on December 10, 2019.

You may purchase your city dog license in person at Belgrade City Hall, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm or through the mail.

Gallatin County Emergency Management has started an education campaign encouraging our citizens to register with our new Community Notification System. Overview information on this new Community Notification System is now available.

This new system is a large step forward in the ability to alert our communities during emergencies, and the more people who register the more powerful it becomes.

  • Police Commission Board- one opening with 3 year term (residency required)
  • Parks & Recreation Board - one opening with 2 year term
